 Hekken, prikkeldraad, modder, vliegen, ontlasting, vuil, stank, en heel veel mensen. Ik ben in het vluchtelingenkamp Moria op Lesbos. Vluchtelingen liggen uitput op de aarde tussen lege flessen en ander afval. Een man doet een gebed onder een olijfboom. Een vrouw wijst naar haar mond, ze wil eten. Ik zoek naar hulpverleners maar zie alleen politie en gepantserde auto’s. Dan zie ik een jongetje, een dag eerder heb ik hem zien aankomen op het strand bij Eftalou. Hij was zo blij dat hij de overkant haalde nu hangt hij tegen een rots zijn schouders naar beneden zijn hoofd in zijn handen. |

Anjo started this blog in 2015 to share the beauty of this magical place. At this moment more than 2500 refugees a day reach the Island. Those people need help. The Greek residents are very hospitable and help as much as they can. From 5-26 october 2015 Anjo will travel to Lesvos. She will post daily photos and stories about the situation on this blog.
