This morning at 9:30 am a Greek fisherman helped the refugees. The engine on their rubber boat had broken down and they were already an hour paddling and blowing on whistles . When they landed they all wanted to get out immediately. That caused chaos and emotions.

Anjo started this blog in 2015 to share the beauty of this magical place.
At this moment more than 2500 refugees a day reach the Island. Those people need help. The Greek residents are very hospitable and help as much as they can.
From 5-26 october 2015 Anjo will travel to Lesvos. She will post daily photos and stories about the situation on this blog.
