Many of my  photos from the  island of Lesvos can be found in the portfolios at my microstock agencies.
As well as other stock photos of gardens, nature and local recipes.
Recently Anjo Kan visited Lesvos for more than two months to help with the refugees crisis.
Refugees from Syria, Afghanistan, Pakistan en Africa flee from Turkey to Greece. In October 2015 every day more then 2000 people arrived in dinghy boats.

About Lesvos Photo and Photography blog

Anjo visited Lesvos for the first time in 1989 . After that almost every year. The main income of this Island are olives and tourism.
Anjo started this blog in 2015  to share the beauty of this magical place.
At this moment more than 2500 refugees a day reach the Island. Those people need help. The Greek residents are very hospitable and help as much as they can.
From 5-26 october  2015 Anjo will travel to Lesvos. She will post daily  photos and stories about the situation on this blog.
