Baklava is a Turkish or Greek sweet pastry made of layers of filo pastry filled with chopped nuts and sweetened with sugar syrup and held together or honey. Buy the phyllo dough for this recipe in a Turkish grocery store.
Use a glass-baking dish so you can also check the bottom Start with one layer on the bottom of the baking dish Not flat but a bit curly with some air in between to make the baklava crispy Melt 200 gram cream butter in a pan ad half glass sunflower oil Between every layer you put melted butter till you have five layers On top of the fifth layer you ad the crushed walnuts After that again a view layers of phyllo dough Heat the oven till 180 degrees In the meanwhile melt 3 cups sugar in 3cups water of boiling water for twenty minutes Let it cool down until its lukewarm before you use it Cut the triangles and ad some melted cream butter into the cuts before the baking dish goes into the oven Twenty minutes or if the color is golden brown you can take it out Let the baklava cool down and ad the melted sugar slowly so Poor a little let it suck in and poor again if you do it to fast the baklava will drown Delicious nice and crispy, enjoy
