Afghan Sabzi Tjalou made by Aziza
Rhubarb and spinach fresh picked from The World Garden . Aziza from Afghanistan prepared this dish in her way. The secret is not the garlic and onions but the curry , cinnamon and fresh herbs. Delicious!
Fry the onion and garlic, and add broth. Than spinach, sliced rhubarb leaf, curry and fresh herbs and boil water.
Let the rhubarb cooke slowely,. Add several table spoons sugar and one teaspoon of cinnamon powder.
Meanwhile, cook the rice cooked and serve on a plate.
